Our Story
Northwest Puppies was founded in 2006 by Pedro Javier Wong and his wife, Martha Patricia Wong. Together with their daughter, Sara, they proudly run and operate Northwest Puppies every day, caring for each dog like a member of their own family.
Our History
The Wong family began their professional careers working with dogs over 25 years ago. In 1995, Pedro Javier was employed at a dog kennel called Best and Big Friends, starting in maintenance. Through dedication and hard work, he advanced to become co-owner and manager of the business. His wife, Martha Patricia, joined him there in 2001, and together they learned the craft of professional dog grooming while gaining extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. In 2006, Pedro and Martha followed their dream and founded Northwest Puppies, bringing with them decades of combined experience in grooming and canine care. In 2022, their daughter, Sara, expanded the family legacy by opening the dog hotel at Northwest Puppies, offering pets a safe, comfortable, and caring home away from home.
